Before taking on this role, he was also Sales Team Manager at HomeAway, managing the performance and productivity of the Italian sales team.

Before joining HomeAway he worked for BoookingManager.com as Rome city manager, taking care of all aspects of the business, from revenue management to coordination of BtB and BtC activities.

A great travel enthusiast, Scaletta founded "RomaVisitaRoma", a cultural association for the promotion of the territory and regional tourism, and worked for a long time for the CTS, a student and youth tourism centre.

Scaletta, Roman by birth, graduated in Political Science at the University of Rome La Sapienza.
